Animal Whisperer

That's me with my 17-year-old cat Hope. You can see that she is captivated by the "birdie." The two of us have had many amazing adventures in our travels together. I’ve always had a special relationship with all kinds of animals from the time I was a small child. My goal in doing this work is to enhance and deepen the bond between you and the animals you love and to help animals heal from emotional trauma.

During my first animal communication workshop with Penelope Smith, the pioneer of interspecies communication, I received a startlng communication from a llama which set me on this path. That was 11 years ago, and I continue to give animals a voice to this day.

I am certified in the use of floral essences through the Bach Centre in England. I often suggest botanical helpers from a variety of sources to support the process of your animal’s emotional healing. Plants are very eager to come to the aid of their animal friends. Learn more about flower essences

  My Shamanic Work

For over 28 years, I have been undertaking Shamanic Journeys to help animals heal from emotional trauma. It is a powerful technique which works gently at a deep level, and is especially useful when your animal has suffered severe emotional, physical, or mental abuse in their past before they found you.

My Shamanic work is based in the work of Michael Harner and his Foundation for Shamanic Studies. Currently I am guided by a trio of Native American, Siberian, and Inuit shamansClick here to learn more about my Shamanic Work for animals

 Pet Loss Counselor

I am certified as a Pet  Loss Counselor through the Association of Pet Loss and Bereavement. The loss of your animal friend can be particularly devastating -- made more so by the fact that many around you may feel mourning an animal to be insignificant. I am here to make sure that you are not alone and that you are guided in life-affirming ways as you journey through your grief. Don't forget that your other animal companions may be grieving, too, and need help. Click here for more information on Pet Loss Counseling
